The Luhrs Boat Owner's Association, better known as the "LBOA" is now enjoying its 11th year. The club's membership is centered around the Luhrs owners in Southeast Florida where boating is a year round activity. The group was born out of a desire to bring together Luhrs owners with the common love of Sportfishing. It has evolved into a forum relating to a group of over 95 Luhrs owners who enjoy sharing with one another their extensive boating and fishing experiences!

A key source of information is a bi-monthly newsletter published by the newly reappointed LBOA Commodore Mark Marquez with help from his Vice Commodore Bob Randolph and long time LBOA member, Sharon Randolph, who serves as Treasurer. This newsletter provides a wealth of information on topics such as the installation of equipment and valuable maintenance tips conducive to Luhrs boats. It highlights recent events, notifies you of upcoming activities, relays important announcements from the factory and even gives you recipes on popular local "catches" for the hungry fisherman!
Quarterly meetings make great social gatherings for new and old owners alike. The meetings offer Luhrs owners the opportunity to communicate tips on cruising, listen to marine industry guest speakers as well as coordinating weekend raft ups and fishing trips.
The club's highlight of the year is their annual LBOA tournament held in West Palm Beach, Florida. Last year over 35 boats competed for thousands of dollars in cash and prizes. Everyone comes away a winner, especially with the generous support they receive from local businesses, Luhrs Corporation and The Southeastern Luhrs Dealers. The dealers are also an active part of the association by contributing their time and knowledge to events and meetings.
As the club has grown, Luhrs owners have joined all along the Eastern seaboard. The annual dues of $25.00 makes it affordable for everyone. All aspects of the club come together to bring you the best benefits of communicating with owners of the same brand of boat and enhances the experience of owning a Luhrs.
